COP26: Meet the ‘climate champions’ the government hopes will help the public go green

"Siobhan plans to spend the next six weeks raising awareness about sustainable shopping, urging people to buy fewer clothes and learn to mend what they already have. “I’m a huge advocate for repair,” she said. “Learning to sew seems like a really daunting thing, but just by knowing how to sew on a button or shorten a pair of trousers – that’s one of the most common ways that clothing ends up in landfill, because people don’t have that basic skill.”
